Labor Day Weekend
« on: September 06, 2010, 03:28:46 PM »
It was my turn to do the towing. A Larson with a dead battery behind the old Winner that wouldn't run in Red Wing.

We added one to the golf-cart picture.  He wants to drive already.

James from Boat Motor Recyclers was camped right behind us. He brought over a little color for our fire.

Let's see your weekend!!

Dottie thinks I'm the best thing sense Hoopy Miller.  (Grade School Boy Friend)

We might also today take a minute to thank the men and women of the Labor Movement who risked their jobs, and safty to give us things like the five-day, 40 hour work week, eight-hour workdays, occupational-safety standards, retirement security, the minimum wage ? all accomplishments that have made our nation a better place for working families and helped so many realize the American dream.

Glad to hear you got the Winner running Jerry.

Jamie and I headed to the UP in MI for some camping in the Porcupine mts. Then it was off to the family cabin in Rhinelander WI. Didn't bring the boat along but spent some time in the old Chrysler Congueror, which is up for sale now in case your interested.

I spent the weekend in the mountains doing home improvement projects. Roof repairs on my rental and a new wood floor in the porch of the Prescott house.
