It was there during the meet, we pulled in for a closer look, and it had what looked like fresh towels and ice chest on deck, like was occupied.

There are a couple house boats parked across from ?pier beach?. We go to that beach quite a bit with the boys. A guy is constantly bringing people back and fourth from the beach to his boat via a canoe. Pretty suspicious as they are not there long and come from all walks of life. Hmmmm.

Sometimes people park their big boats on the islands and ?squat? there all summer for free. We suspected that might be the case here.

Well I suppose that is one way around paying slip rental.   Not going to say its right, but you have to admire the creativity.   Curious if this falls under DNR, game warden, or maybe sheriff responsibility.   Or possibly people dont mind?
  Mo river cleans out squatters fairly regular.
