Anybody got a port side trim cylinder for my 85 Alpha Gen 2?

The alpha one gen two drive was introduced in 1992.   Not to say you don't have a gen two on a 1985 boat.   A standard alpha one XD ram should be a correct fit.   Compare the numbers of the other ram to insure a correct match

See picture of ram attached. Appreciate if so em e can confirm 98703A3 is my need. No numbers on it anymore. If you can recommend a vendor, thanks as well.

It looks like a standard XD ram to me, should be a number in the casting.  What is wrong with it?  I ask because the do make rebuild kits for them.   I saw several new and used XD Rams on eBay should you care to look.

Nothing in the casting except the word “mercury”.
I’m sure it’s the number in my original post but both dealers I called kept superseding it to a gen 2 number. The threads are pulled out of one of the fitting connections; overtorqued is my guess.
Thank you.

I looked up the p/n you supplied earlier, not an XD ram, but the website, nlamarine.com had some good info related to trim cylinders.   Any possibility of finding a machine or hydraulic shop that could repair the threads.  Maybe by welding on a new bung?  I see now the challenge to match the other side, every site I looked at said just look at the casting numbers.

With some guidance from GC family out there I have found a used one in MN. Should be headed my way Monday.
I was going to seek a repair but it’s the angled fitting that has accept  the end of the line with the tight bend.
Thank u for your help.

Now to bleed all the water out of the system 🙄
