YIKES! Sorry to hear it Jerry! At least it was only the shed house and not the main house but still. Yuck! :(

Before you call and make a claim figure out what your deductible is and talk to your agent. You might be better off just fixing it yourself. Could see an increase in rates after a claim is filed. If you call the insurance company directly and ask about it most of them will usually open a claim even if nothing is paid out. And that just makes it harder if you ever want to switch and would probably effect your rate. Most companies in the central US are taking large increases(10-25%) to start with. Dont need any reasons for a even bigger rate increase.
I think this has become an addiction.

Well the adjuster came over Friday. He said it would be around $850 to fix. He also said I had $1,000 deductable.

Dottie set up that scaffold yer going up on the roof.

Living in hurricane country (Louisiana) I've never seen shingles peel off in a large sheet like that before. At least it's a straight and easy roof to work on.

The adjuster said I may have had too much pressure on my nailer. (I think he's right. It was my fault)
