Anyone else work on their boats today?

Pulled the temporary interior out, removed the control mounting panel.

Anyone remember seeing a good reproduction source for a capacity plate?

Nope, but even though we were at Hollywood Studios in Disney World I thought about how nice it would be to boat today since it was about 78 degrees today in Orlando! Ah what an addiction we all share!

Pic taken today?... must have had some really good weather up north Jerry to be in shorts!

Hope to get some panels cut out for the CVX-20 engine box tomorrow... making removable panels for each side.  Any recommendations for paint to use in that area, to take the heat?

He's only up 1". Said he tried more and it got a little Squirrely, so he dropped it down.

Mark Gel-coat. You can brush it on just fine.

I painted my Bilge/Engine compartment with Bilgekote from Interlux.  Wood panels - I just painted with a good exterior grade paint and covered it with carpet.

I just came in from getting a new to me 9.5 Johnson running. I was just talking to my dad about making a mini-CV to mount the motor on. Something along the lines of those little hydro-racer looking thingys I've seen on smaller lakes. We'll see what comes of it, the wife says go for it.

Test ran the Evinrude again yesterday after rebuilding carbs, fuel pump, impeller, re-seal lower etc.. Much better now!  Power tilt and trim test with new TM Marine switch on control lever and new solenoid in box successful.  Back to "sand and fair", "sand and fair" on the hull.  Can you tell I'm tired of "sand and fair"!?!?!?   ;D

Between yesterday and today I glassed my stringers and transome together,  bedded my transome, bedded my stringers, replaced rotten wood for the rub rail (about 3 feet on each side), replaced the wood backing for the transome tie downs, and tabbed in all the stringers. Might be more All in all, a very productive weekend.

I hooked up one of the cables (throttle) & new control box on Goldie.  Going to need to order out a new (shorter) cable for shifting.

Anyone need a Mercruiser 15 ft cable, or old Morse 11' or 13' cables & Control box?

I might need that in the near future Doran, I'll see if you still have that stuff a couple weeks from now.
