Garden hose was free, boat & trailer were free too, the bucket was $350.00.  Can you believe that bargain?

Gregg - Yes, all the important pieces are there...some interior too, no buckets though.  One windshield is broken, one vent is broken, and ladder piece is missing...but all the necessary bits are there.

$350 is a fair price for an old bent up bucket, garden hose is just added gravy ... LOL

Someone had to talk him off the cliff...

We've got another hour to get back to Des Moines... trailer's great!

Yep Doran had to talk me down on walking away from her. But after hooking her up to the Yukon and seeing her in the rear view mirror I can say I am hooked.
I will post some pics tomorrow when I get her home so you guys can see the work needed to get her on the water again.

Thanks again to Doran for going with me to pick her up!

Let the fun begin! ::)

Good job B!  I'm anxious to see you have some fun with this project.   My best advice is figure out if you prefer Tylenol or ibuprofen for headaches.  (and take lots of pictures)  I'm happy for you and Amber.  Looking forward to seeing her restored to the beautiful classic she deserves to be.

I may as well buy stock in pain killers before I tear into it. I think I will be taking a few before it is over.

I might have a donor boat already at home. What do you think?

Brandon's got a good foundation to start with, just needed a little positive reinforcement and encouragement from someone who's 'been there'.

He's starting at about the same place I did.

That is too long of a sell for me to think about a donor boat. I lost interest the first season.  Be safe getting on home with her.
