This is a copy and paste from someone on Reds website. He says that his dad bought the boat at Montgomery Wards. How unusual.
Hello from the far North state of Alaska. This site has been a tremendous help in restoring/rebuilding my intimidator. Thank you to all for your contributions as i have used your knowledge and information in my project. My dad purchased this boat in 1984 brand new from montgomery wards, they were sears main competitor back in the 80's. i was with him when he bought the boat. he had a chioice between the scimitar or the intimidator. he chose the intimidator. i was 13 when he bought the boat, and we spent many weekends on the lake with it. when my father passed away my mom sold the boat to my sister, who used it for a summer and parked it in a storage yard and it has sat there since 2000, left uncovered until 2012 when i purchased the boat. Ive always wanted another GlastronCarlson, but could never find one. Now i have one and its the actual boat my dad purchased new. Sadly to say, i probably could have got a better deal, a better boat lala lal la, but i have what i have and i am happy to have it. i am posting to show and contibute to the rebuild process for others to see, and hopefully I can help someone out as much as i have been helped. These pictures are from last summer when I purchased the boate
