Other Stunt Boat Drivers are credited as:  John Koerner, Murray Cleveland and Eddie Smith
The plot thickens: Cleveland & Smith are both black & I'm purty sure a white man jumped the boat. (No offense!) So that leaves us with Koerner, or Weston , or Armstrong.

Or my personal favorite: Jerry Comeaux

Jeff, I understand the sequence of events - first picture Gregg in boat, second picture, no Gregg. These were taken at White Bear Lake with Mr. and Mrs. Retro. with Mrs. Retro taking the pictures.

The second picture was taken with the SRX prop churning up the water in a show-no-go slow turn for Mrs. Retro. The over the exhaust hub prop was not biting yet at this slow speed.

Whether Gregg or I go faster is a toss up at this point. Gregg gained alot of speed by mounting his motor higher. I may have to do the same to keep up with him.

Fwiw y'all need to pick up the Live And Let Die two disc 'ultimate' edition.

No self respecting Glastron owner should be without one.

Looks like a CVX20 Jet...
Maybe ..

Was searching last night for .... YA ... You guessed it ... Glastron/Carlson ...
Found a thread on Scream & Fly, about pictures on Art Carlson's office wall.
I'm not a member so couldn't see picture, but sounded like some cool (old) stuff ...

Can some one save and post pictures ?

The GM 292 I believe was a 200 hp in-line 6 used only in 1969, basically a bored out version of the GM 250 in-line 6 which was rated 155-165 hp.
The GM 283 I think is a 4.3 liter V6 rated from 190 to 220 hp.
The 327 if I remember was used on early Jet drives, probably around 230 hp.

The boat was only about 5 minutes from the store (just picked up) all the hooks on the tie downs were straightened out.  I had an employee flip one on a freeway ramp years ago and when we got there he said....."I was going real slow and a gust of wind just picked it up and flipped it" LOL
