Round 'Insert' On Back Of Transom

I need some help in identifying the object in the picture below, because I couldn't quite describe it correctly in a Google search. I'm sure it will be a "why didn't I know that" type of thing. Btw, the nut on the inside of my transom that attaches to this was loose, and likely didn't help with my transom issues, as described in my recent posts.

It the ground for your fuel tank.
My wire is wrapped around copper gas line and attached to this anode.
