MC1 trim cylinder reseal
« on: November 11, 2021, 10:53:35 AM »
I bought the quicksilver kits.

The trim cylinders worked fine but one started leaking at the shaft after I manually lifted the drive after it had drooped down a little. Figured I should do both.

Is it a simple task?

It isn't too bad of a job. The hardest part is getting the orifice out at the end of the cylinder if it doesn't come out when you remove the ram.

I did both of mine on my v179 in an afternoon.
