Depends on exhaust routing and clearance, but you could make it "Captains call". Another favorite is to align the tips so they are in the water at idle, but out when on plane.   Some have placed them roughly halfway in the water for their desired exhaust note.

On the Scimitar I can only put it thru the upper corners in the dog house. The power steering assembly is really close on the left .
I didn't want the Captains call.
Putting Dennis mufflerd exhaust . But I'm sure ill have to modify it some around the steering.
The mufflers didn't show up yesterday like they said . More pix as I go.

I put Moore Thru hulls with the muffled tips on my CVX18. Tips are in the water at idle, out when on plane. The muffled tips give a good exhaust note yet
are reasonably quiet enough to permit conversation while underway. I think you'll like them.

There are S pipes designed to clear the power steering.  They put the 4? exhaust about 3/4 under the water line at idle.  They come out a little bit lower than the ones on Glastron John.

It's pretty quiet even when you rev it up . Hope to go to the lake later today .
Have to finish my stone work on my house first.

Trying to upload a video but it won't take it. I cut it down to 13 sec too.

The Moore performance exhaust is perfect . The sound is really nice idling and still quiet in the cabin while WOT .
Got lots of looks tonight .
5200 RPM @ 58 mph . Good enough for a old boat.
Sorry I don't know how to put up a video . I think the file is to large. I even trimmed it down to 13 secs lol.

Looks Good!
Before installing the mufflers I coated the exposed plywood with gelcoat, resin/acetone should work as well, than bedded  them with 3M 4200.

As far as videos, I opened an account with YouTube, uploaded the video to my account than copied and pasted the page url to my post.
