Guys and Gals had one of the best times on the river yesterday,  Thanks.

It was so hot going thru the no wake areas you could not wait to get of an run a little to cool down.

Thanks for the great pictures, was fun to see Scotty E floating around.

The club has a small task though, we need to find a way to keep Davids hat on his head. One time just about grab it mid air and the other well prop shreads.

He claims  to old to wear it backwards, one idea was to use alligator clips sewn in and the other clipped to his ear that way when he goes to fast something will be tugging on his ear. Any other ideas?

Maybe some 3M 4200?

We had fun here seal coating my driveway. Felt like we had heat stroke the rest of the day.
In and on the water was the place to be.

I'm being picked on again. That's okay, I'm used to it. It is a problem to keep the hat on. I want the cap's brim in front to shield me from the sun, but have to be careful to keep from looking up, to the side, or move forward into the blast of the wind.

Maybe clips are the answer. Wish I had $1 for every time that hat has come off.

There are a bunch of hot rodders in the group (not me of course) and it was hard to be near the front of the pack with all the delays of turning around to fetch the cap out of the water and switching portable fuel tanks in the back seat. At full speed, I have to switch the 5 gallon tanks every 20 minutes (less then 4 MPG).

Let it fly off Dave. I bet that cold wet hat felt pretty good when you put it back on!

I'll wear the African Safari hat hanging in the garage - brim on all sides, vented, and strap to keep it on.

Dave just shave your head, makes it easy to apply sun tan lotion and then no need for the hat. I speak from experience.

Nice turn out and looks like a good time! I couldn't wait yesterday to anchor the boat and jump in the lake. It was too hot in the boat even with the shade of the bimini top.

The sand was burning my feet. I brought 8 cans of pop for my son and I, we drank them all, and did not go to the bathroom once on the trip.

So bummed that I had up mis this outing...
Looked like a great run.
We did get to go on the st croix today, made it to kinnickinnic, orig plan was to eat at muddy waters, but it was windy and rough going so we ate in Afton. Wind did die down and trip back to Hudson was great. I did learn that the ride over the white caps is better at 35mph than going slow and fighting them :D
It was s nice hot day, great to be on the water.
