A few more pieces of information will be helpful: (I don't think there was ever an electrical schematic published)
Did the boat just stop running one day?, or did you buy it this way??
Do you have a good battery?
When you turn the ignition on do you have power to other electrical items, (radio etc)
I see a tool box back there so I'm wondering if you can check if you have power to the starter motor?
It could be a few things but these are pretty simple electrical systems. Follow the current, where you have it, and where you don't.
That is a pretty green.
Best of luck

I can get you some more pictures of the wiring later to day. I tried to clean the wires up. Because when you would turn it over the wires on the battery would smoke. But now it doesn't have any power at all to the key. And the only wires that I remember taking out did not go any where they just stopped and where taped off. And thanks I had to do some wet sanding and buffing. To get original paint back. Thanks for the help

Don't worry .. every one has problems posting from phones ... took me three try's to get my reply to you ...
Look on the right side of transom for your CV's serial number, and check your motors serial number.
Boat should be a 1974 ... The online service manual should have the wiring diagram your looking for.

Yes cv16 and it's a outboard motor is an Evinrude
Mark, the wiring diagram you need is in the Evinrude manual, not the Glastron manual. (Some Glastron-Carlsons have Mercury engines!) The serial number of your Evinrude should be on the engines port transom mounting bracket. Check eBay for the correct manual for your serial number. What is your serial number?
I recently found a "like new" (really!) Evinrude manual for my '73 115 hp V-4 Evinrude, which is mounted on my '74 CV-16 that I am restoring! I'd post the info, but the wiring diagram in my manual won't fit in my scanner, and it might be different for your engine.

Mark, is this what you're looking for? It looks like someone tried to move your key switch from the remote to the dashboard.

Have you found the fuse shown in this diagram that is between the starter solenoid and the ignition switch? Smoking wires is not a good thing!
