Question for CSS-19 Owners

Getting the new baby ready for her maiden voyage.  Question about the spoiler/wing on the back - that's where the ski tow hook is located so I assume it's sturdy enough to pull a 200lb skiier out of deep water.  What about pulling a couple of tubes from the wing?  I don't know anything about how it's constructed or how sturdy it really is, and I'd personally feel more comfortable pulling from hooks attached through the transom.  Problem is that the transom hooks seem to be really close to the water line. 

Any info how about how it's constructed or how strong it is?

Not sure of the construction, but I have seen 2 people sitting on one before.

I know that Tom & Mary's has/had spider cracking that he was getting repaired.  Tom felt it was a weak point...so I don't believe he would endorse sitting on the wing.

The css-19 we had was great at pulling!  I would put 3 ropes and tubes with 3 teenagers all in the 125-175lbs. And have no trouble trying to dunk them. Your not going to want to use the transom tow hooks because the ropes will hardly never come out of the water.   Mine did have a couple spider cracks but I feel it was never pulling related.     Don't be afraid to use these boats for what they were intended for!
