Seven feet long ...appears to be factory built in a mold...guy I got it from had put a 25 Merc on it and first launch the transom went under and he sank....almost drowned as he was sitting in it with his legs up under the deck (you have to kneel) My first thought was to up the power......someone talked me down and I put the current 15 Johnson on it for the great nephew....works good with a light driver...never measured speed 25-30 maybe?

I set that on there when I brought it home.....boat had been stripped of controls/steering etc..........I posted it on winter projects in 2018 and I am pretty sure your the one that talked me off the ledge....Then again I do like to have as much motor as possible ...I think rule number one is do not get hit from behind with surf boat waves?

I got the yellow hydroplane in 2018.....the guy said when he sank it he came home and disassembled it.....stood in the corner of his garage from 2004 to 2018....the fifteen is light enough that it works good for a lighter driver

By itself or next to the one that's there now?  Is the a Contender? I saw a Green one for sale a couple years back but never could get ahold of the owner, that one looks very original?
