Found a home I'd like to purchase so the Carlson MAY be for sale for anyone interested.
1979 Carlson CV23 Ford 460 big block with a Berkeley JE pump. Engine and pump have both been gone through. Pump has inducer which seems to help significantly out of the hole. MSD billet distributor MSD 6AL ignition. Gauge's have all been upgraded to modern style and completely re wired. Interior and floor are original and still in good shape. Windshield is brand new and was over 800.00. If I do decide to sell I would ask $5000.00.

Hello All - I am in the process of finishing up a complete restoration on a 1974 CV19SS. This was the boat I learned to ski with some 40+ years ago. I had several Olds 455 Packajet decals reproduced for the engine valve covers and I have several left if someone might be interested. I am happy to move these along inexpensively.

Well the time has come. Due to ongoing health issues I must sell my 1977 CVX-16 along with the attached 1976, 135 HP Evinrude motor. Always garage kept and properly winterized and stored. 3rd owner. Ran great when parked 3 years ago. It had been in storage for 20 years when I purchased it. I got it running and she screams!!!! Great boat. It has dual carbs that need adjusting. I am selling my project. I have two boats that are identical they are made by glastron very desirable Hulls they're rare and used in the old James Bond movies. I have one title and two identical hulls. They are both restoration projects.. one of the boats is on a good trailer the other one has a rusty old trailer but you could put some wheels on it and it should get you where you need to go. You would need some portable lights. One boat has a 75 horsepower Suzuki engine on it I got it running five years ago but it does not pee so I replace the impeller and it still didn't pee so I got frustrated and searched and finally found a lower unit which is rare but I found it it also has tilt and trim which is invaluable. I am not going to get this thing started I am just simply going to list it all and let somebody take it away there is enough to make an amazing boat but it will take some work and I just don't have time for it so my loss is your game. I am listing this prematurely just to see if there's any interest if you're boat person then you'll realize the value of this package deal. I will have them cleaned up a little bit and ready to show within a week but they're being sold as is the way they are. The fact that I bought a lower unit is proof that the engine ran.Please no stupid questions if you don't ask a question in your own sentence I'm probably going to ignore it I don't like the pre-typed questions if you're serious about it then you'll reply with your own sentence.

Rare 1984 Carlson Auto-Extender trailer. Only 200 were ever produced by the Carlson Boat company. You will probably never see another one. Has all options that were available including Hood prop with spring assist interior lights and rear light covers. All trim is original and in excellent condition. Includes the original kidney bean aluminum wheels and a brand new set of trailer tires.
Would make a real cool tag along trailer behind a pro street, hot rod, rat rod, or custom show car or truck. Has flat four wire connection and a 2 inch ball. It was only used a few times locally in East Texas and stored in a carport since new.
Excellent condition no holes or damage to the fiberglass. Could use a buffing. The carpeting is original and could be replaced or used as it is. $3000

Hi Everyone,
Some follow-up on this one posted here last week: the CV19 in AZ. I would like the engine and trailer for my CV21 restoration, maybe eventually restore the CV19 (which does needs a lot!):
1.) I made contact with the buyer long enough to tell him I would be getting a quote to ship to MI. It's about $1000, less than I feared. Shipping it into freezing temps would be an issue, though, if it there's water in the engine.
2.) So I wanted to know when the boat was last run (it says "ready for lake"), and does he have the title(s)? Seller has been silent all this week.
3.) In the meantime, the price had already dropped from $2500 to $2200, and is now listed at $1700.
Don't know what the recent events mean, but passing on the info in case it had caught anyone else's attention. I'm waiting for a response from the seller. I could probably ask my wife's cousin's husband, a Phoenix lawyer, to get involved if it got to the point of a transaction. Or maybe he could store it until it's spring up here?

Im selling my Carlson Contender. It's in very nice shape and I have title in hand for trailer and boat! This little beauty is fast and looks mean doing it.
Boat has a 115hp evinrude(85hp cowling is "sleeper") with new impeller, stainless steel prop, new carpet, new digital gps speedo, new battery box, manual jack plate, custom transome saver plate, upgraded steering, good battery, nice seats, paint is 8/10 but still very nice.

This is a 1976 Glastron CV. It is 16' long. It is just a shell at this point. The floor has been removed. It will have to be rebuilt from the bottom up. This is the same boat used in the infamous James bond boat jump scene. It is a good hull design and when it's put together runs like a corvette on the water. The transom is solid. It just needs a new owner to give it love and attention. If you buy it you will need to bring your own trailer to transport. The trailer it is on is just to keep it up off the ground and is not included in the sale. I'm asking $1000.00 o.b.o. I do have legal title. It is registered as an antique and that stays with the boat so it is cheap to register. Its like 7- 10 dollars a year. If you are interested you can give me a call

Hey all,I hope it doesn't come to this but I might have to sell my cvx 20 soon. Was wondering what I should ask if I do. It will need a restore but it does float and drive as is. Floor was redone before I got it but they only did the main deck, the battery storage under the back seat does have a hole from the old wood and water sitting in that spot. Stringers and rest of the floor is still solid. New water pump and one power pack last season. New battery season before. I just don't want to ask too much or little. I do have the title in my name for it. Again aint the most pretty thing to look at but she is a running floating boat. Get up and move too!

1969 Glastron Aqualift Classic
I purchased this boat in 2021 and have used it since and it?s been an amazing boat. It?s very solid and runs well. I?ve replaced the tires and wheels and had the out drive serviced and the bellows replaced.
Myself and 5 of my friends have taken this boat out of Newport and Florence and it?s very stable. It?s not setup for ocean going and that?s where I want to be so I purchased a much bigger boat. This boat works out there but people were looking at us like we were crazy. But honestly the hull design on this boat makes it so stable. Great bay or river boat!!!

61 Surflite. This needs a new transom. Weekend job if you split it. Floor is good and it doesn?t have wooden stringers so they can?t rot. It?s a cool classic sitting on its original Little Dude trailer. I started building new seats for it based on measurements off an all original boat. They need foam and upholstery. I have the windshield but it?s got a couple of cracks but it?s good for a template. I started doing some patching on the exterior of the hull using a 2 part epoxy, since I was planning on painting it. In hindsight, I think the upper half (green) gel coat could be brought back with wet sanding. More pictures forthcoming after I pull it out of my barn and remove the cover. It?s been inside for about the last 8 years. I am downsizing but do not HAVE to sell. Firm on the price and cash only. Will do a bill of sale.

Selling my 1977 glastron Carlson cvx-20 with the 1977 200hp outboard Johnson. The outboard has a new power pack, voltage regulator, and water pump last year (so lower unit oil as well), also checked and cleaned the carbs up, and replaced the fuel linee. New battery at the very end of 2 seasons ago. this boat is rough to look at but does run, AND float. The interior will need a complete overhaul, worst spot is the battery area where the floor was never replaced (actual deck was redone by previous owner but they stopped at the battery box, slowly been cutting it out was going to be this years project but I just don't have the time or effort to put into this like I thought i would. I did have to do some repair on the keel which is why it's discolored.also siliconed around every opening I could. Transom is solid. Had it to about 45mph loaded. We took it out several times. Too fast for us. 2800 obo/ trades? title in hand. Trailer will need tires but can get it home if not too far. Offers.

There is a couple, extra repairable props, nose cone, manual, wiring, harness lift, drive and starter all coming out of a 1971 CV 16SS with an AQ130. Fully negotiable on price located in Minneapolis Minnesota. We did a full engine swap and drive swap so these parts are no longer needed. Nice boat motor was rebuilt last year, interior was redone, gimbal bearing, shift cable, engine coupler, prop, lower unit replaced. New trailer lights. New trailer rope and wench. Comes with Bluetooth speaker, 2 person tube, bouys, ropes for docking, an additional stainless prob and also aluminum one. Last time we had it out this year it ran great until we were coming into dock and it cut out and haven?t got it running again. I have a StarCraft 17 foot speed boat it has a 84 Evenrude 90 hp needs a trim Motor it does run but could use the carbs cleaned it has been sitting about 1 and a half years I would consider this a project but a nice one for the money it does have almost new coils, power packs, prop, keel guard and hydrofoils and the trailer has almost new tires with less then 50 miles on them and has a clean title. Great boat, in great condition motor recently serviced new steering cable. Trailer has new tires, and pull great. Hull is sound. Great boat for skiing or tubing. Motor has good spark and good compression lower end serviced, all paperwork up to date tags on boat good till 95, trailer has a little rust and could use some paint work, and the upholstery could use a little repairing. but nothing that needs to be done immediately before use. Nice old ski boat with a 1983 Evinrude 140hp. Bought it to wakeboard, ski, and tube behind in the summer. Mechanically the engine is mint since I?ve had and maintained it. Does about 90-100km/h on the water.
Not in a rush to sell and will be getting it ready to use again in the summer when I have time to pick away at some tlc.

Is there any interest for purchase in a 1986 (I think) glastron Carlson metric? The hull is in amazing shape but it needs some wood work on the seats and floor. The upholstery was re done 6-7 years ago and it?s in great shape! It?s been stored inside. I don?t have any better pictures of it but I can get some for serious buyers. It has an extremely nice bunk trailer and a 120 horse evinrude. I took the motor off and controls to use in a different project but didn?t wind up doing it. The boat would come on the trailer with the motor and controls all there but not mounted. Engine runs great trim works great.

Hello Folks. Anyone interested in some parts from a 1979 Glastron CV23HT? I bought it several years ago to restore but never got to it. I have way too many things going on and will probably never get to it. I have the whole boat and trailer. Stringers, transom, etc.. are all toast. Great fix-up project. Glastron tri-hull model V180 fiberglass 18 foot deck boat. Trailer is included. The boat is from around 1968. The hull is in decent shape and cleans up nice but could use some paint. The installed 2-cycle engine had a problem and severely overheated and is seized. Probably the water pump went out or not enough oil was added to the gas. Fortunately, a spare engine is included. The spare engine did run previously but hasn't been started for a number of years. as you can see from the pictures, the seats need recovering.
The trailer is structurally in good shape. The tires were new a few years ago and have very little mileage on them - nearly full tread.
With some TLC, a do it yourselfer could bring this boat back to it's former glory and it would be very valuable for resale or private use.

Glastron only made this model from 71 to 75, they marketed as an Extraordinary boat for the Extraordinary man! Not because you need it but because you want it ! The last year was the only year with a factory swim step, which makes this one extremely rare. This is an original condition unrestored CV 21. Solid floors, stringers, and transom. 455 olds with a rebuilt 4 barrel carb, Berkeley jet pump. The only thing not original and has been replace was the carpet. This is a water ready boat, most of these if you?re lucky to find one are far from being ready to splash in the water.
It?s not very often you find one for sale that you can take to the lake the day you bring it home. Please only serious buyers, if you live out of state, I know a transporter that is very reasonable.

I?m selling/trading a 89 glastron boat, boat is in good condition. comes with a 75 pound top deck trolling motor, cover, buoys, anchor and extra prop. Motor turns over and runs. Has not been registered since 2014 and NO PAPERWORK included , I have lost the paperwork. It has just a registration no title because of its age. I got it on a trade, but it is not what I really want. Looking to trade for a flat top boat preferably, anything else will be considered.

Made in Austin, TX. Super cool boat, looks like it's out of a James bond movie. I was able to get the engine to crank, and but wasn't getting spark and noticed the wiring needs to be redone. Trailer is great, hull is great, interior is pretty good. Would be a super fun boat to get up and running. Clean title, and the tags are pretty new, so I think it was running at one point.

Selling my 1971 CV16. Its all original. I purchased it last year from the second owner who purchased it in 1974. The engine is a 74 Johnson 135 and was rigged on boat when second owner purchased it. Boat was sold new, traded back in and then sold to the second owner in Tupelo, MS at the Glastron dealer ( Western Auto/ Hills Marine). The boat has the original cover that came with the boat in 74, and its in nice shape. The engine runs perfect. It has the original Johnson Fuel tanks. Interior is original and in nice shape.
The boat is not perfect. Few places on bow deck where the gelcoat has cracked. Few small areas in the metal flake stipe on deck. Soft spots in floor around the fuel tanks but thats to be expected. Transom is solid and does not flex when you lift up or push down on it...BUT I would about bet it would be rotten or powder inside the lower part of the transom where it meets the floor if you cut into it. Im being realistic. Its 53 years old but it would be hard to find another one in this condition. It would make someone a very nice restore or use as it is. Its gets nothing but compliments every time we have taken it out. Its fast and rides smooth just like all Carlsons. I have all 3 original Johnson props and the boxes they came in.

Let?s try this again, last person never showed up. I?ve got an 86 CV 23, it?s a project boat. It?s an IO and needs floors , stringers and transom replaced. I have the motor, lower unit and interior out of it. All the hardware and wood trim has been removed and in boxes. It appears the person before me didn?t winterize the motor properly and the block looks cracked but all the parts are there. The trailer is a shorelander and is a 1982, tires are good and it has a spare. Gel coat is in real good shape so no paint work needed. The deck hatch, gas tank and ladder are in good shape. Original plan to restore it isn?t going to happen. Located in Cedar Rapids Iowa , have titles for boat and trailer in hand. Asking $600 and for $700 I?ll throw in a pair of heavy duty dollies to set a boat on while working on it, if they don?t sell beforehand.

This will come with a home made trailer title as it came from Wisconsin and they are not required to register a trailer under 3000 lbs. This is a follow up post from a post I made 5 days ago about my dad?s boat. I started the boat yesterday. It started with no problem. We operated the power trim & tilt and all worked well. The transom is in good condition. In 1974 when he bought it, boats were not titled in Texas. He does have the correct paperwork to assume the title from Texas Parks and Wildlife. Boat is located in Houston, Texas. $8,000.
Original owner, 1974 Glastron GT160, 115 Johnson. He purchased it in 1974 at The Houston Boat Show. Garage kept its entire life. He has the owners manual as well.

Classic lines. I bought this in March 2022. I have two other boats so it made no sense to get another one but when I saw the lines of this I had to have it. It has a classic roof structure and a flared bow and a totally flat shear line. (Those are interesting terms to know if you are new to boating)
The interior is ok. I dont have phots yet. It is pouring rain today and I will try to get them soon. The floor is solid and covered with indoor outdoor carpet. The seats are not horrible.
The hull seems solid from outside viewing. It has a couple small chips that were crudley patched over with epoxy. He made repairs as necessay but didnt want to respotre it, just use it for fishing in Lake Michigan with his kids..
The transom does not appear to be weak, but he installed a steel reinforcement, I can get a phto of that. He fabricated that and it seems well engineered and nicely welded.
The owner was a professional diesel truck mechanic so I trusted his story of the motor but it did not matter to me because I wanted the boat and could figure out the motor later. He kept the boat in his pole barn so it seemed like he treated it well. He did not maintain it as a showpiece but as a functioning fishing boat with a classic look.
He said the Mercury 25 HP supposedly works, but needs work. It runs but it was getting low compression and loosing power. He had planned to rebuild it with the factory rebuild kit and said for $450 all the internal parts that suffer wear could be replaced by a mechanic or I could do it myself with the scads of Youtubes on it. Look this motor up, it must have been popiular because you can get another one for $500-$1000. Super cheap in todays motor prices for a 25HP.
I never tried the motor and never had it in the water. Too many projects. Clean Title. The trailer got me home from Michigan no problem.

2001 Glastron Carlson 23 CSX. This boat has the Mercruiser 454 Mag MPI with a Bravo One outdrive with 306 engine hours. A year after owning this boat I had a small crack open up in the bow after being in some rough water. A fiberglass repair facility was able to determine that at some point in the boats life moisture got into the hull on that side and caused delamination. (weakened its integrity) the area affected is a small section of the starboard bow. I sanded the area down and laid new fiberglass to ensure it wouldn?t have any more issues. It is a very strong repair but not proffesional by any means and not the prettiest thing in the world. The price reflects this as the engine and outdrive of this boat are worth asking price on their own. I have put about 100 hrs on this boat since the repair including a trip across Lake Superior to Isle Royale with no issues and was planning on keeping it for many more years but I am moving and will not be able to bring it with me. $7500 OBO.

Selling my 1994 Glastron SSV249 with a Volvo Penta 5.8 (351W Ford). Boat runs great and is a lot of fun. Stainless 3 blade 15P prop. Comes a Danforth anchor and shore anchors as well. Lots of space and a port-a-potti on board. New Garmin BT radio and speakers. All the upholstery was redone in the last year. Swim ladder was added. Oil and lower unit oil was changed with fresh Amsoil oils. Table converts to a bed with a small aft cabin as well. Also had Bennet electric/hydraulic trim tabs. Great boat just don't have time for it. Shorelander trailer had brand new tires installed in October 2022. Snap in carpet as well. Last year I buffed and polished the entire boat. Wiring was updated to a power distribution block with blade type fuses instead of the glass fuses.

OK, here?s the story. This was inherited by a friend.
Boat hadn?t run in a cpl years so had a tech install a new impeller ($500).
Tech couldn?t get it started afterwards.
I?ve managed to get it started with MUCH MUCH difficulty (not a 2 stroke guy).
My friend doesn?t really want the boat so would rather just sell it as is rather than putting any more money into it.
Boat is in AWESOME shape as pics show.

I?m thinking about selling my 1971 GT 160. I don?t think this boat has even been rained on. Transom original and perfect. Has factory power trim. Custom sunbrella cover and it also has a spare running motor ( it?s the one I took the trim off of). Boat runs great. I have for sale a 1959 Glastron FireFlite. This is a 15-foot fiberglass runabout that I completely restored in 2007/2008. My wife calls it ?The Bat Boat.? It includes two motors.
Her registration is current; the trailer has never been licensed and in fact has no bracket for a tag. (In Oregon a trailer this size doesn?t need a plate. You will have a bill of sale and should have no trouble with the Tag Office.)
Her topsides need a polish, but she should clean up well -- see the last photo from just after restoration, above. Topsides are Interlux Brightside linear polyurethane in ?Fire Red?; hull is Interlux VC Performance Epoxy.
You never know, you might make a bit of cash as an extra in the next ?50/'60s-period movie they film in Savannah!

The Evinrude ran when I replaced it with the Mercury, but I haven?t tried to start it in at least ten years.
I haven't decided whether the 3.0hp trolling motor is included.
The Mercury ?Mark? engine alone, if restored, is worth about my asking price; as would the boat alone be if re-restored. You get both at one bargain price, along with a spare motor!

When bought the boat the floor was weak. We replaced it with cedar deck material. Has been solid ever since.
