2015 Mo River
« on: January 22, 2015, 09:35:39 PM »
I had not seen the flyer you posted before, bit did know that was the basic plan.  It used to be one of our favorite destinations.  They had a giant pork fritter sandwich, and their specialty drink, river water, was awesome.  Hope it is in place for the summer.  We have a date for Rathbun and Red Wing, but have we settled on Ne dates?  Mid July?

Shoot, I haven't even thought about the mo river get together yet. Probably going to shoot for mid July. I will get a date posted this weekend.

The river recreation spots are slowly coming back from 2011, so we hope that enough come back to make a decent meet.

Is this a one day boat outing or a whole weekend of camping/ boating?  I'm busy the weekend of July 17th-19th.  What about 10th-12th?

Sorry guys had to split the topic off of the cottonwood one.

On your first question Tim, it is in my book what ever the group would like to do. My preference would be Saturday run up to Cottonwood eat, drink and hang out, and then drift or slow cruise back to dodge park. Sunday, cruise south to the downtown docks and find a place to eat then venture back north.

My thoughts on camping, if we want to we can, after looking at the camp sites at dodge park last year, I am a little leery on camping there.

Date wise, what works for everybody, the weekend of the 11th might be doable for amber and I if we can get our work weekends swapped around. Other wise what is everyone doing the weekend of the 4th? I would bet cottonwood might have a band and maybe fireworks that evening.
