CV-16 differences
« on: August 03, 2022, 06:54:38 PM »
I?m looking at a CV-19 outboard and I have a question. Just like my last CV-19, I thought the hull right before the windshield back leg mounts the hull makes a step up. The CV-16 I?m looking at the bill goes straight back, there is no hump before the windshield leg. I have never seen one without the little hump.

Interesting point to consider.   Im more a fan of the CVX windshield posts, mostly because everyone grabs those windshield frame extensions when boarding and they get bent down.   Gives me the fingernails on chalkboard feeling.

Plugcheck, you are right about using windshield as grab handle. Everyone did the same thing on my CV-19.
Hyperacme, thanks for the info. Seems like there was no hump through 72 except the s/s models and some with and without jumps the next years and all had humps after 74. I had just never noticed it before.
