Title: Can someone please help me identify the year and model of this boat? Thanks
Post by: robert_m on November 04, 2020, 10:17:20 AM
This photo of my grandparents boat was taken in 1968 and I'm trying to figure out the exact year and model as I'd like to find an identical boat to leave at my cabin. Thanks in advance for taken the time to look at the photo!

Looks like a '65 Thunderjet to me.  Check the link below:

Welcome to the forum Robert !
I think there is one for sale in GCOTD thread.

There was also a model that looks the same (basically) but one foot shorter.

Thanks guys. I believe a 1965 v-160 is the correct model. I checked in the GCOTD thread but I didn't see a v-160, I did see the v-143.

If anyone has a 1965 V-160 for sale or comes across one please let me know.

Thanks again for all your help. All I knew where the stories passed down that it was an old Glastron bought used from the local grocery store owner. They sold the boat when I was a child when they upgraded to a newer model.
