Happened upon this picture

http://www.performanceboats.com/pb-open-water/84203-photo-day-3-30-11-a.html

Scroll down on the post to where Tom Brown chats on the telephone with Art Carlson about his CVX16 with a 2.5 liter Merc engine.

Can this photo be included in the photo album to Art Carlson?

thats a Great Picture,  maybe it should go on the picture frame.
I used to have a video of that boat, and Art signing the dashboard, that was not too long age, maybe 5 years I think.
the boat was not a full tunnel, it was art's design from 1963, in the C-100 hull, the italian boats I think were full tunnels, Art and Bob joined up to produce them in Anaheim, but it was an itialian design.

I'd Love to have that boat, but I couldn't pay that much for it.  Thats was Art's design for "trapping" air under the hull, he called it a venturi lift, and a cusion of air.

I had to grin when I read what Tom Brown said that Art asked him to Promise to take the 2.5 off his 16, because Art called me one time, after I had sent him some pic's of Red' Gold with the transom mod, and the stroker sitting in it, he was concerned about stability,  that the hull was never built for, or tested at speeds in the 70's

I Found It,  is it wrong to copy this video and add it to the frame ?  Art would Love it, and John,  I told John about Bob's twin 21, he said he's Anxious to see that one.

Nothing wrong with using the video as long as you do not benefit monetarily. I doubt there is a copyright on it anyway.

Yeah, but there's still the courtesy of asking for permission.

I'll have Bob's CV-21 photos up tonight hopefully.

Still missing some member photos, but next Friday is the cutoff so we have time to bug them.
