I can measure it tomorrow, but my bow light is closer, similiar to Terry's.  Might be a difference in the design?  Mine came with the large letters, Glastron, on the deck, no GC.

Bow light center of pad is 9".  Not many spots on my Timi look good, but here is a spot under the port exhaust that shows the flake color fairly well.

Glastron must have had a couple of molds. Can not think of any thing else that would explain the difference in the bow light in 2 different locations.

That is interesting. Seems like it's closer to the front on the white bows. 1985-1986. Maybe they did make a new mold.

My Intimidator is an 84 like Jeff’s

huh, strange, maybe they did all this oddball stuff just to screw with our heads! The mid 80's were the strangest time for Glastron.

Engine covers vary as well, but maybe not as bad as the cvx-18 lids did.  The interesting compare is Jeff's compared to Terry's since they are both 84's correct?  Change paint/gel and badging and it becomes even more confusing.  No matter what, Jeff, that is an enviable find, I don't know how you do it.  Nice resto project.  Starting to look like CGOAMN 2020 will be the year of the Timi's!

The best I’ve been able to tell is that in 1985 the hood changed and they also started using the Glastron emblem instead of the Glastron/Carlson emblem. Something to point out is that Jeff’s production date is an 84A, August beginning of production run, while mine is an 84I, April towards the end of production run for that model year. Maybe something change during that time.

Bahahahaha this one is smoooooth and no fading do not think it spent to much time in boat..

But close to the same color looks to be like a burnt orange color.

Have ordered a bunch of samples hope to find something close.

I'm kinda doubting a pressure washer would work, but not saying impossible.  Might just be the clear never really bonded well enough.  Certainly an abrasive might work and gel over?

Tanking poorly applied paint off many time with pressure washer or just an air blower. Makes a big mess though.
I think this has become an addiction.

Interior pulled, motor pulled and tramsom assembly pulled. Ended up breaking 2 bolts off that thread into the outside assembly. They did not break off flush so there is enough thread that I can screw on a nut and weld to what's left. Hopefully with a little heat they will thread out. Also had some extra parts laying around and made a adjustable out drive stand. Should make installing out drives a little easier.
