change up of engine cover emblems

Not liking the GLASTRON only emblems on my 85. And they're cracked.

Seeing as the boat isn't 100% original and the Carlson name is  nowhere on an 85, I was thinking of replacing them with the Glastron/Carlson version.

Anybody done this on the high-top cover?

Thoughts? Pics?

The one on Top is the one from 87 CVX-18 engine cover.   The one on the bottom is the one on 88 CXV-16

Yep .. I'd use the G/C emblem with two sided auto trim tape.

Looks much better. Was thinking the red/blue version but the all silver looks good too.
