Title: Awning Track Rail & CVX18 hatch supports
Post by: 185GXSF-Guy on August 27, 2020, 02:52:41 PM
I spent two years googling various terms trying to figure out what was the name of the thing that secures the sunpad on a 2001 Glastron GX SF to the front of the deck lid.  It is called an "Awning Track Rail" and wanted to pass along this information in case someone else was in a similar situation.

Below are some pictures.  The white awning track rail is what came with my boat originally (from Glastron).  The black is the replacement that I ordered from Rochford Supply (http://www.rochfordsupply.com/shop/Boating_and_Marine/Awning_Rail/Awning_Rail_-_Plastic/index.html).  I did not need to change the welting on the sunpad - same hole diameter (or close enough).  You can order new welting from Rochford Supply too (http://www.rochfordsupply.com/product_listing.asp_Q_CatID_E_407_A_SubCatID_E_430_A_ProdID_E_3517)

The original awning track rail started chipping pretty bad and was the wrong color for my restored boat, hence the need to replace.
