Just talked to him ...
Flack is faded but not rough to touch, some small scratches, hull good.
Soft spot in middle of floor, transom is good, seats in pretty good shape, all trim there and windshield good.
Will try to look at it tomorrow ...

1973 is the only year for that color ?

Going to try to see it at 11:00 - 12:00 tomorrow ...

Your right Gregg. Looks like CV16SS had the molded dash and the CV16 had the board style.

Thats weird. I never seen a dash like that one. I do recall seeing different dashs in the CV's but really? They had different ones for the SS and non SS?
Looks pretty good, cept for that motor.

I actually like the way some of those old Chryslers look, if they only lived up to their look. Menacing, I think.

The CV16 is an outboard and the CV16SS is an I/O ....

Here is a picture of my 72 CV-16 that I sold to by my CVX-18. My brother has a 73 that was the same as far as the dash goes. must have been the only two years it was like that. They seem to be rare model? I hardly every see any like it. I don't have a good picture of the dash

I am starting to think Glastron was purposely putting these messed up images in their ads just to see if anyone would catch it. Wonder what the marketing guy was smoking in the early 70's!

This one is the 2 + 2 model .. two seats and two gas tanks.

I'm about one week, maybe 10 days getting that little rod back in the shop, gotta have it looking good when you get here. I been totally focused on the little Yellow Jacket, I spent all day on the cut water, that was a Job trying to get it straightened out and polished up some, and believe it or not, it fits.

We're leaving after dottie gets home on the 25th and staying at Diamond Jo's in Iowa (you went by there once if I remember right lol) then Thursday going to Topeka and the Casino there, then to your place Friday, unless you want to meet us in Topeka. I could get 2 rooms we could have some fun. I'm getting excited.
