That video has been around since 1994 and is still enjoyable.  Pretty crazy the lack of safety gear and running so close to the dock and spectators.  I have never seen any further information about the Glastron (or the event for that matter) posted elsewhere on the Internet.  If there is more to the story - motor, prop, lower unit info, etc - it sure would be educational to know!

From Performance boats.com here is some more info on the 125mph Glastron

    The Glastron Carlson you see in the video is indeed a stock boat. The owner/driver is Andre Robitaille of Quebec, Canada -- once upon a time a large Glastron and Glastron Carlson distributor (Robitaille Marine, Inc.). It's powered by a small block Chevy V-8 on nitrous, and get this....the drive unit is a shortened and slightly modified MerCruiser Alpha Drive!
