1988 CVX 20 with Mercury 200 video
« on: August 27, 2011, 06:52:25 PM »
Hi everyone!

I am a new member to the club. I have owned several Glastron Carlson's and grew up in the 1970's with a 1972 CV-16 with a Mercury 115 and also a 1978 CVX 16 SS. My dad did a "fly by" with the CVX 16 SS when I returned from summer camp. I was 14 at the time and  I will never forget how cool that was! I still have the brochure. My son put together this video of my 1988 CVX 20. It is near perfect, with original gelcoat. It has new Sea Star hydraulic steering and New Mercury controls. It is a an absolute blast to drive!

This is a very cool site!

Cant watch the video since I have dial up :(
Wish you could have made it to the meet last weekend.
May be one of two CVX 20 outboards here?

Ross,

Glad to see you join us!

That video looks like the 'flybys" are still happening.  WOW!!!

Give the kid a pat on the back for the video editing.

I am running a 24 pitch Tempest stainless prop with a jackplate. According to the speedometer it runs in the low 60's. I haven't checked it with GPS yet, but will let you know when I get those numbers.
