Thank you David CVX 16 for your advice on the specifics to evaluate this find.

Acquired said 88 CVX 16 from the farm shed today.   Very Solid but needs a lot of elbow grease.  It is the one I saw on Diamond Lake last 4th of July.

Picture attached.  Will find its way to Events this summer.

Congratulations on the Glastron/Carlson CVX-16 purchase. I know how excited I was two years ago at this time of the year picking up my 1987 CVX-16. They are great boats, and yours looks like it will polish up nicely. Now we can compare top MPH between two similiar boats, one having a 115 HP Johnson and one having a 115 HP Mercury.

Are you selling your CVX18 or keeping both? I had a CVX16 but sold it once I got the CVX18, which made the wife really happy!.....LOL

I plan to keep the 18.  It was my wife who found this 16 posted on a grocery store bulletin board. It is the 16' twin brother to the 18.  Hope to get them out as a pair a few times.

I need a ladder for it.   The owner said a few years ago someone stole it off the boat in the night.  Does anyone know where I can find an original equipment ladder for the 88 CVX 16?
