We'll be beached in the channel or on the North beach in Kinnie.  Plan to make at least one run up to Stillwater to see all the chaos and comotion.

Anyone else coming out?

Tempting..I havent been out since Gregg and I (and Shorty) were out back in May??? ARGH!

What time and where are you meeting up at?
Boat is dirty. Covered in saw dust from a cabinet I am building for a customer.

Jeff, I put in at Beanies near Hudson last time. Gregg puts in further south at Windmill.
Dang I wish I would have seen this sooner. Need to wash the boat and gas etc.

I'll be on Kinni tomorrow for a few hours with my oldest son doing a little swimming. Keep the SeaRay @ Windmill so I'll be taking that. I'll look for you guys.

I'll be in by 10:00 - 10:30.
Put in at Windmill and head down to Kinni.

The river will wash the saw dust off ...LOL

Was there an historian and a photographer in the group last Sunday to record the event?

Hi Dave ...
Put in at the Windmill and saw a CVZ putting in behind me so waited for him to launch, caught up to him and ask if he knew about CGOA, he did and I pulled out my camera to get a shot of his boat.
NOTHING ...wouldn't even turn on !
Pulled out the ones from the GPS and got "Low Battires" on the display.
So much for pictures ...
Met up with Jeff & Kip at the Kinni and we " Chilled " as Sara put it...LOL
Jeff took a run around to the south side to see if Allen was there but only saw the same CVZ I saw.
Kip and sons took off about 4:00 so Jeff and I took a run down to Prescott.
We came around the first bouy and saw Allen and wife tied up to a dingy ( 32' Carver aft cabin MY) so we stopped to talk.
Allen and his friend hopped into Jeffs boat and we headed down to Prescott.
River was pretty rough and I was tring Jeffs 23 P prop ( Didn't work ..about 4800 rpms at 38 mph ) so I stopped in the Prescott no wake to change props and Jeff took my GPS and went up the Miss. river looking for some smoother water ...Wasn't any ...
MAN it was busy Sat. & rough water !
Stop at Allen's friends dingy and talked a bit then headed home.
Beautiful day ...
Sorry but no pictures ...

Thanks Gregg. It helps to know how things went, who went, any unusual happenings, etc. Seems like the only calm water on the weekends is the Mississippi and the Minnesota. Glad that people are getting out. That is what our club is about. But if people have other things to do and other commitments, that is okay also. This is sorta an off year for me. We have our son's wedding next weekend and Joy and I are busy getting the house ready for Joy's sister from out of town. Hope to do more boating later on this summer.
