I was just going down around afternoon on Wednesday to make sure everything is OK ...
Maybe put up some yellow tape and figure out what will go where.
Wasn't going to bring boat with.

Might get there early enough on Thursday for a run.

I will be down Wed night probably around 6. Jess and Kids are coming Thurs later in the afternoon.

On a side note I at at Boat Drinks in Prescott on Friday last week. They are the ones right on the water by the gas dock with the big Shrimp sign. It was very good. All they have is Heggies Pizza and Shrimp. Both were very good. However it is cash only no cards or checks.

I think this has become an addiction.

Tim and I will be traveling Thursday morning as I opted to help move my son to college on Wednesday.  Should be water ready and camp set up by mid afternoon, maybe we can run up there and meet ya?

We can plan an afternoon run
The moon will be nearly full so if it's clear out it will be great for running at night

I now have full lighting inside, and a handheld spot, so I plan to take a few slow night excursions.  Just about anything to be out on the water.   Having a full moon only makes it better.

If you park on the city dock you can go to other places as well. If you park at their dock you are only supposed to go there.

Thanks for clarifying that is correct, usually when everything else is jammed up that's when we end up going to the "shrimp bar"

They do have really good shrimp.  It can be kinda slow if they're busy.  And it's funny... when we were there, shrimp comes on a paper plate with a plastic knife and a toothpick.  lol

I'm assuming the dock's are marked/labeled so you know if you're at the city dock or private dock?

clarifying:: Boat drinks is across the tracks towards town, the shimp shack is named Point St.Croix Marina, this is the one right on the water. If you park there you must go to the shimp shack, not uptown, they only take cash no credit cards, has cash machine. The city dock is the one BETWEEN the RxR bridge and the car bridge, this is free, and you can go uptown anywhere, gets full fast. Muddy Waters is right there by the city dock, very clean, umbrellas, nice veiws.

Sounds like some great places, would love to hop around them and try some local delights, however, isn't Thursday scheduled 6pm pizza night at the casino(Extreme cafĂ©)  I don't want to be the one to rock the boat figuratively speaking.

Hey...if its gonna rain Saturday...we need to be on the water when the weather allows...don't sweat pizza night.  Plus, the meet has always been open to do what you want...you want to go boating instead...go boating!!!

Impromptu boat run from Treasure Island to Kinnickinnic State Park. Started out cloudy, but nice, then rain five miles into the trip and off and on the whole time. Not hard though. Five boats - Shawn, Gregg, Joe, Terry (in Jeff's boat), and David P.
