Title: pinstriping ang gold flake
Post by: Tomas M on September 07, 2020, 06:05:46 AM
Hey!

Does anyone have any tips on where to buy 2.5 mm pinstriping (brown and orange)?

I also need to get gold flake for the deck of my boat, mostly for minor repairs. Does anyone have experience of where to find gold flake that matches (or at least is close to) the one that is on an old Glastron boat?

I have ordered samples from Roth.

Ghetto GoldTrippin Flake

Gold'n ShowerSOLID Flake

Warm BeerSolid Flake

Odd Ball OrangeSolid Flake

It remains to be seen if any of these are the right shade.

/ Thomas

Greetings

Tomas

Roth has many options, and express composites carries glitterex. I believe both of those brands mostly have hex flake.

I imagine if you are doing the stripes and using a Roth product, just get a pinstriper to stripe it.

Otherwise, I imagine just googling the color in pinstripe should result in hits. I need to stripe my cvx 16 ss as well.

Nice boat!  ;D

The pin strip should be 2.5 mm. I have found 3 mm, but it gets a little too wide.

I have managed to get the color of the hull if it is NCS S005-Y40R.
