Thank you !
« on: August 27, 2021, 12:53:52 PM »
To everyone who attended or contributed to this years meet ..
There was over 100 people and over 50 (Glastron & Glastron/Carlson) boats, plus four or five other brands attending.
There was over 40 people at Two Rivers Bar for Thur. lunch.
Raffle for banners & contributing members paid off this years forum fees.

Few things have changed .. and I'll update next years meet thread ...

You should make reservations for camping spot for next years meet if you want one next to river.
River side camp sites are $10 more then other sites and ALL sites need to be paid for (unless reserved) at RV office and not at gas dock.
Camping area is large and I don't think it would fill up, if you just show up and get a site.
Treasure Island will be taking camp site reservation after Jan. 1 2022.

There were a few injury's this year .. most at "Slippery" boat launch, I'll add warning to next years meet post.

Hoping everyone had a GREAT time and will be back next years !

Definitely one of my favorite events of the year!  You guys are all awesome, can't wait to see you again next year.

No physical injury, but lost the camera to water damage as I slid down the ramp holding onto the boat, submerging the camera attached to my belt. Telephone survived.

Might also want to warn about wing dams, with the necessity to stay within the marked channel. Looking at a map of the the Mississippi River around Prescott with the many wing dams drawn in on both sides of the channel is scary.

Good to hear you were not hurt Dave   :)
Tim C. also went down and bounced off trailer, didn't break anything but got some scrapes and a big bruise ...
I've fallen once and caught myself twice at that ramp at past events.
Also seen a few other people slip there ..
