The Toyota did fine pulling the CV23.  Averaged about 22 mpg on the trip out and about 16.5 pulling the boat back to Oklahoma.  Took the mountain route out for the scenery and the southern route home to avoid the altitude and snow.  I stayed out there a few days with family about 60 miles south of Phoenix.  The ford one ton dually is for the RV, of course it would pull the RV, Burnin Daylight, and Hot Knots all at the same time and probably average about 12 mpg mountains or desert.  Never been passed by another RV on a hill.  Guess Red is right I don't like getting passed.
That Sun Devil is coming off even if the gel coat has to be freshened up.

Beautiful Barb. Congrats! Nice factory trailer too. Appears to have been taken care of, for sure. I too like them with the windscreen.

Where/how do you guys find these gems?

Hey Rosss, Chris, Hotwired found this one for me.  We actually started looking pretty much right after the meet in August.  I contacted the seller the first week of Sept. and it took me til Nov. to talk him into selling it for what I wanted to pay.  It kind of surprised me that I even have it now.  I haven't gotten to lake test it but I'm really anxious about it.  It is going to make a great family boat.  Burnin Daylight can't be turned loose with the family so much now that she's got her rocket engine in her..

There are several old Glastrons out here for little or nothing.  Anyone want a Jet Flite?  There is one here in the area for $75 .. hull only. A bunch others under $1k.
