Here it comes.  1st snowfall in southeastern Wisconsin.  Boat put to bed for the winter.  Now it's time to get out the snow skis.

We got about 3-5 inches last night, and luckily built a snowboard ramp just last weekend for the kids.  Just need more snow now!!!

Nice ramp! I have a feeling they'll have plenty more snow fairly soon!

Wintry wonderland is nice sometimes as I kinda miss the full seasons.  ;)

Tell ya what I miss is the utter silence during heavy snowfall. Always enjoyed that part. Nowadays don't think I'd last a week up there. Been in FL too long. Got fish blood & a thin skin ...?

Ya, miss 'em like the plague Jerry. There goes my blood pressure again ...  Friggin Manatee!? Don't fret, FPL customers are footing the bill to keep them cozy in football field size hot tubs this winter.

Call it a stretch but one can only hope the Manatee will share their warm water with a few of the 50 million unemployed Americans?

They're like the rest of Florida's idle rich. they went there because it's warm, and they don;t have to pay taxes. They just don't care about pofolk. good luck.

Well I'm not entirely sure their thought process is that advanced. But if you say so ...

Here's an example of what really pisses me off Jerry: Last year a Momma Manatee and calf were swimming by Snake Island and took it entirely upon themselves to stop in & hang out for awhile. Allowing the kids to pet them, etc. Kid's were having the time of their life, probably remember that experience forever. Well 'til some do-gooder who wouldn't shut up felt the need to call the man and report this Manatee molestation.

The boys in green showed up'n bullhorned the children away from the animals. Went so far as to threaten the parents if they didn't get their kids outa the water.

Way to leave an impression! Jerkoffs ...

Yup the silence is awesome when you can stand there and hear "nothing" Doesnt happen very often when you get that kind of quiet.
Winter is just a couple of months too long for my liking.
