« on: December 02, 2011, 05:01:55 PM »
Did ya hear that?

Not from my boat. I don't have a horn.
Anybody got a black deck mount they don't need?

The horn was an option.

Guess i should have pulled the below deck horn from the viking before crushing it. It's the same as a car horn so a trip to the junkyard would get you a cheap horn.

Thanks guys.

I do have a black deck mount horn jerry, you are welcome to it.  Let me know if you're still interested and we can figure out how to get it to you.

I think I would prefer it to a car horn. I'm 2 blocks East of 35W, at 86th st. You could toss it to me as you go down 35. Give me a call when you can swing by, I'll show ya what I'm up to.

Ok, got it sunday and tested it...didn't work I'm not sure if they're easy to fix or not. It will be a week or two before I'm down around bloomington.  I'll give you a call when I have a better idea of when I'll be in your neighborhood.

I'm in no hurry, but if you hooked it to a battery, and didn't hear anything, your trash is closer than mine. I don't think it matters which wire goes to + and which goes to -, but it's a "disposable item" there's no fix I know of.
Thanks for trying Sean.

Oh I dunno, looks like ya could make something fit in there? Here's what the guts look like. SPARTON #421 stamped into the horn body.
