Trying to source CVX windshield frame hardware
« on: March 22, 2011, 07:24:17 PM »
Anyone know where I can buy the winsdhield frame threaded rubber grommet with the metal endcap? These are the upper winshield fasteners on all CVX windshields. I'm going to buy a bunch and include them with the new frames I'm making.

Also anyone that wants a set of frames, bowcap, or horn grill please email me so I can make a list of how many I need to make. Thanks!

No boat yet Andy! I just found a few CVX's that were being parted out near Boston and I bought the windshields off them for the frames. Production will start in about a week and a half but the little windshield grommets with the chrome cap is a PITA to find. I wanted to include them in the sale so anyone without a windshield would have everything they needed.

Still looking for that perfect late model Sprint but the wedding is less than 3 months away. I'll get something eventually. I just hope I'm smart enough to hold off and buy a turnkey rather than another project!
