Miss Mayberry
« on: April 04, 2011, 02:07:19 PM »

While in the Phoenix area last week, I looked-up Chris and was allowed a personal visit with Miss Mayberry.
She is a beauty for a 47 year old Glastron. Thanks Chris, She?s my favorite!

I dont know Jim, looks like your aging pretty good to me. Your hair hasn't turned all gray and fallen out like someone I know! ;D I'll bet you enjoyed that warm weather last week in Arizona.

Hopefully you plan on doing another mini-meet on 'Tonka this summer. Looking forward to that although me a Gregg may look for a ramp closer to Mound this year!

Outstanding! Cool that you got to visit with Chris & see Miss Mayberry. A classic beauty indeed. The boat I mean ...

Not to say you aren't a classic beauty in your own right Jim ...  Pay no attention to Greggs ramblings.

It was real good to see you Jim! I would have liked to have shown off Miss Mayberry in the water if we had more time.  Sure covered a lot of ground when you were down here!

Beautiful boat. Wonder why Glastron didn't stick with the inboard design.  Never knew they offered one at any time but after reading the history about it they should have continued to offer a true inboard.

Weather was great - broke the record hi of 97 / it was 100 on Friday.
Plans are for a June Tonka meet on the 25th or 26th. More to follow.
It's looking like you river runners might be begging for some lake time this spring.
I'll let you know when the ice is out. There may be a speed limit on Tonka to control erosion this spring.
