This on is just in my custody for now. A friend of mine there in MN, Lawson, is going to be captain of this one.  The boat is in pretty nice shape aside from a good buffing, cleaning and in need of new upholstery.  I'll get some more pictures of it in a day or two here.  I am rather anxious to see how she drives.  I have never been behind the wheel of the 23 footer with a 260 in it.  Should be a nice ride.  First order of business is remover some lake growth from the hull.  Previous owner, Jeff, had it kept in a wet slip for a time.  It has the same growth on the bottom as that boat that Jason picked up I think.  Rather be interested to see how it looks buffed out too.  For now, she sits in the drive where Hotwired sat for the past 12 months.  Moved him to my office for a while to keep Mayberry company we have a nice fenced lot there).

BTW ... anyone need a new cover?  I found a place on Ebay with nice covers at a very reasonable price.

http://stores.ebay.com/Commercial-Bargains-Inc?_trksid=p4340.l2563

I have gotten 5 covers from him. One for each boat.

I think it will come back quite easily.  No raised flake at all.  And yes, it should be at the summer meet if all goes as planned.  How are things going over at the Museum?  I would love to make a trip over there again!  Summer is coming and I am sure you will be over there a lot yourself being you will have such nice accommodations now! .. not that you suffered too much before but that place sure looks like fun!

I did a little buffing .. .very little.  About 10 min with only the heavy cutting compound. Only did the driver's side.  Will need more but with that little bit of work, it will shine up very well!

Couldn't resist could you?  :)  I see Lawson's plan now...leave it there long enough that the whole thing is buffed before he picks it up!

Sounds like you both win to me  8)

It's cleaning up nicely Chris - good work. Interesting color combo too...I'm guessing that blue flake looks pretty awesome in person!

It'd be sweet to see another 23 at the meet this year...

...no pressure!

Majority of the work is on the rear bench and engine cover.  Just the bones to work with there.

My plan would be park it at Andy's and cruise the Colorado in the winter.
