All of your boats...
« on: April 05, 2011, 07:32:07 PM »
OK guys, I am interested in all the boats you have owned in the past to the present. Some of you guys I think own a few. I'd like to see what you have owned in the past and all the ones you own now? Pictures...which ones do you take out as a "daily Driver"

I am young and have only owned a few.. One was a parts boat for the outboard. ;D never saw the water...

re-did the interior in the CV-16 and put the outboard on. Ran great! Then Wex. put his CVX-18 up for sale and I couldn't resist. So I bought it and sold The CV-16

My first boat I purchased in 1990 is a 1970 V176 Swinger with a Merc 115 tower-o-power. I still have it but it needs a structural rebuild. In 2003 I got a 1969 V142 Skiflite but it has changed hands a few times since, first to my next door neighbor, we rebuilt the boat and re-powered it with a Merc 45. Last I heard it was for sale somewhere in New York State. In 2004 I got my 1967 V174 Crestflite which underwent a structural rebuild and re-power from 2006 to 2010. In 2009 I was given a free 1988 Chaparral 2150 SX cuddy which became a donor boat for parts used in the V174 rebuild, that boat was sent to landfill after it was stripped of all useful parts. It looks like the last pic below but was gray instead of red.

My fleet to date ...

First Born .. was the Hobie .. bought it in high school .. 1978 .. still up in MN at Ottertail lake.

Second was a 1983 C500 with a 115 ..

sold it when I bought the CV-21.

Then in came my Ship, a 1979 CV-27

Then came Miss Mayberry a 1964 Saberflight.

My latest is a 1976 CV-16ssV8 that needs a complete rebuild.
