Well I'm glad I'm not the only one.

SO there was a Corinthian at the 2010 meet? How come I didnt see that????

Wait...1st meet...2008.  I was at the 2009 with my Bayliner, 2010 with Bluebell, so 2008?

While we're on the subject, I'm curious now. There have been two for sale with outboards, one with twin outboards at the meet, has anyone actually seen an I/O version? Even just listed? Neat boats. Certainly a style all their own. Very cool.

As far as I know, the first Red Wing meet was 09 and I was there. That would be the one I would guess I missed it at because there was just a lot to take in the first time you go, but with the growth I've seen in a couple of years, it hasnt gotten an easier.

I have not but if you ask me, that screams I/O. Not outboard, however, from the front, with those twin Mercs on it, it doesnt look anything like something that would have a cabin under there. At least not to me. Not having a hatch helps with that look.

Hmm...I missed the 1st year's meet...and went to the next 2...the Corinthian wasn't at the 2009 or 10 meet.  2011 is the 4th meet, so 2008 would be the first year.

Doran

Yes the first meet was in 2008 held at HOK SI LA park in Lake City. Just around the corner from the beach we park at on Lake Pepin.

The Corinthian was at the 08 meet I believe it belongs to Jerry Snelner (spelling) he was the one at this meet with the other Scimitar.

Hopefully he see this and will bring it to the 2011 meet.

So, is that different from the Corinthian that was for sale in IA last summer?  It was the same color tan gelcoat.

the one in IA had a single 115 or 150 (can't remember) and the last I spoke to him was on 10/24/10, and he was asking $4,000 for the package with the trailer. still available as far as I know (only because I haven't seen otherwise) and, likely somewhat negotiable. I have his email if anyone wants more info. seems like a clean original in nice shape, and very tempting. just a bit too far for me. now, for $3,000 I might be asking Doran if I could spend a night on his couch to come out there and grab it!  ;)

HA!  Its just such a weird boat to me...no one can see where you're going except the captain...cuddy is small and a death trap (on the Corinthian anyway).  Its just the weirdest design IMO.

agreed! it certainly is unique. considering how different they are, how rare, and how much we appreciate the brand, is it special enough to add one to the collection? not quite sure. certainly don't need one, but when does that stop us?  ;D

For what it's worth I think the Corinthian/Conquest racks up near the top as to uniqueness & rarity. Strange looking boat indeed. But I'll bet she's purty aero/hydro dynamic.

Plus ya gotta love that 'pad' at the transom. I defy you to find a G/C model with a wider one. A couple hunnert hp OB trimmed right & that rig would haul a$$!

Total of four so far...
There was one for sale about 5 to 6 years ago, it was white from the fuzzy photo posted, and an outboard.
Think it was out west, maybe north west, can't remember.
Just noted the I/O version when posting the above spec's ...
I didn't make it to the first meet in 08 so missed Jerry's Corinthian, but he is working with DaveP on his motor ... So maybe Dave can ask him to bring it to the 2011 meet ...
I for one would love to see it in person !

Jerry's collection of boats is mind blowing ... To say the least !

Thats right...I forgot about the one in 08 but remember hearing there wasnt much for slips and rocky shore so the meet was moved.
