Updates...
« on: May 14, 2012, 05:52:35 PM »
Hey everyone...  Man it's been a few interesting months... So here is the latest.  Lisa and I have been blessed with the oppertunity to purchase a new home.  We are about a month away from closing on a new home in the city of wyoming.  We are very excited as it has some wooded property, and is much nicer nad newer.  We also have been able to keep the old house and use that as an investment rental property.  So...  it's been extremely busy, and I haven't even taken the tarp off the boat.

My hope is that I will haul the v-195 up to the new house, or store it somewhere for this season.  I've had a very generous offer to borrow a boat for the season, so I'm going to have a boat afterall.  Once we get back on our feet with the new house, i hope to take you all up on the restoration project, but it looks like I just don't have the time till the fall.  At least, Lisa and I will have a boat to use!  :)

Thanks for thinking of us!  We are doing pretty well, and we are looking forward to having some more time after we close on June 11th.

Perfect, at least you have a boat to use for the summer and we will be able to meet up on the river sometime this summer.

Well...  I haven't talked with him directly yet, but Tom Velure mentioned that I might be able to borrow his CV-16SS for a time.  He has a few boats, and he mentioned that he can only use one at a time.  It's extremely generous of him, and kinda funny as I seem to have some experience with CV-16's.

Either way, I'm humbled by the generosity.

Congrats on the new home it looks great. I am pleased to read that everything is going well. I understand about not having enough time to work on the boat I am in the same boat lol maybe this fall or next spring.

I noticed an older Glastron sitting out in the driveway a few houses down from me! Welcome to the neighborhood.
