Trailer Tongue Wheel Dock
« on: July 09, 2012, 08:40:13 PM »
The boat trailer wheel always edges forward on the slanted garage floor and the hitch hits the blaces on the garage door. Went to West Marine and they want $30 for a trailer wheel dock.  Looked around at work for somethng that might work and came up with what is called a "shoe."

I got a plastic ring at Menard's for around $8.00 ... it's got two holes in it.  I drilled out two holes through the concrete and set to 6" long 1/4" dia. bolts down through the ring into the concrete.  Keeps it steady, and holds well enough you have to lift it up and out before you can roll off.
