To anyone doing thru hull exhaust
« on: August 19, 2019, 08:03:35 AM »
I was going to put this in the CVX 18 thru hull exhaust thread but I figure this on its own is important. I recently finally did the transom in my 18 and raised the exhaust above the waterline. It's as high as it can go which I was unable to do with the piped from cp performance that everyone is using. Instead I found a series of pipes from Eddie marine. The one that works best is the 11 inch drop it brings it just below the steering rack. You can also buy the 45 degree elbows with a piece of exhaust from hose in the middle and really tune your height. I just thought I would share.

When I did my 18 and my 23 I just bought 4 mandrel bent 90's and put hose in-between them.
I think this has become an addiction.
