I actually have an original copy of the magazine the article was printed in.
I know this boat has 23p cleavers on it which I thought was a pretty steep pitch for a boat this size but maybe it turns them good because of the twins. Cleavers weren't the most efficient props in the world either. I would think it would run better with a set of mirages or lasers on it.
I have a set of captains call diverters for the exhaust but I really couldn't find a good spot for them to exit and I'd really hate to drill holes in this thing. I've seen some people exit them above the swim platform which looks absolutely hideous to me. I've seen some boats with twins that have side exit exhaust where the exhaust goes into a Y-pipe and exits out the side the motor is on. It looks pretty clean to me.
The motors seem real healthy in this boat from when I ran them to winterize. The port one only has 20 hours and the starboard has 100. The entire boat only has 300 on it.
Mine is missing the wooden grab rails by the hatch. Looking close at it I think the top portion of it was repainted at some point. I also don't have the wiper on mine.
I have never seen another blue metalflake boat. As far as I can tell it is original. The flake is in the gelcoat.
The boat was a locally owned boat since new and seems to have been well taken care of.
The interior was redone at some point and done tastefully. It makes the interior look much more modern.
