So for a mere 1.1 gallons, you get 10 more miles?   Seems odd the mpg goes up with higher rpm.

There info on prop and top speed's seem pretty close for most models.
Dave and I (115 HP Johnson and Merc) get about 4 mpg on a 90 mile Miss. run.

I think it is more about how well the motor was cared for, then the brand.
Do you have any pictures of your boat ?

I've removed several auto oiler systems from various engines, ATVs, boats, bikes, but never specifically a BM 150.  In every instance, I pulled the oilers after engine failure.  Kept up, they serve the engine better than pre mix.  The ratio changes, some engines go as high as 100 to 1 under certain conditions.   Never heard of a kit, that does the delete, but that doesn't mean they don't exist either.

I have also heard story's about plastic oil pump gear on the 2L Merc's.
Don't know what to do to remove the system, but any Merc dealer should know.
Or if Rich see's this .. He would know.

You can probably disconnect the warning module and plug the oil supply line going to the pump. Then pre-mix your fuel with oil. You should still have a hard connection to the overheat sensors so at least there would still be an alarm if there's an overheat.
