I'm calling it done
« on: May 10, 2013, 06:37:40 PM »
Though it truth its only the beginning...
first time out, tiny lake, barley nuf room to get going.
motor don't have power trim, tried hole 2, 3 and 4. 3 seems to work best.
i did not have a gps with, but hit 45 by speedo at 5000 RPM, with 14x19P prop.
i will bring it to the cabin tomorrow and test some there, that lake is also small but i should be able to let it run out some.
i will see what the other props are, and maybe try them, i have a stainless with no numbers :/

Looks good Joe! What a change from the shell of a boat with just a floor when Amber and I picked up the 140 from you.

Lookin' GOOD Joe !
If I remember right ... This is your first boat and you weren't even sure if you liked boating ...
So ... Did ya like it ?
Ya gotta do a Miss. river run from around the St.Paul Park area down to the Hastings dam then up to the Ford dam.
No need to let off the throttle except through down town St.Paul "No Wake" ...
Waters pretty smooth for most of the trip ...

OR ...
A MN. river run, it's pretty narrow and like a race track, but water is smooth.

Looks great! 45 is not bad for no power trim and yet to experiment with props. Bet that felt good after all your hard work.

"DONE" seems like a strange name for a boat. They're never finished.
