Sure sounds familiar. I really enjoy trying out different props. This being my first prop boat, I am utterly amazed in the difference props make. I have used to test various solos aluminum props thinking a prop is a prop until I picked up a 26 pitch stainless "speed" prop with 2 blades. it took some time to get out of the water, but holy smokes that prop was amazing for straight line hi speed running. it shot a rooster tail behind me that was huge. if it wasn't for the fact that I was having way to much fun seeing how fast I could go and the fact I overheated my engine badly I would run it again. I just got a cleaver stainless off of ebay and it is going to be tested soon. Love your video!

Here's an update:
Forget all the pretty chrome Laser II's and Vengeance props I've used recently, I've gone back to using the 1st stainless prop I bought when I was testing my boat with the new engine and drive. It's an old beat up reconditioned Quicksilver 23p stainless, Mercury part number 48-16320 A5. This number crosses to the current Vengeance 23p prop offered by Mercury. This is the same prop that originally got me up to 52.2mph 3 years ago and has the best hole shot and top end out of all my "high-end" shiny stainless props. Go figger.   ;)

Can you polish the dull stainless ones? Or are they supposed to looke like that?I just bought a 19 stainless and it s dull, but I have seen some that are polished.Still learing about props, didnt know they can make that big of a difference.
