GX150, HPV155 hulls.
« on: February 20, 2014, 12:09:12 PM »
I thought the GX150 hull was the same V hull as GT150 hull ...
But maybe not ...

Sure looks like a pad under that HPV, and has same spec's as a GX ...
CVX15 with a 115 HP motor ...

You have to get one Doran ... Just to make sure ... LOL

I want one!

If a CVZ-19 & CVZ-18 had a baby...it'd be a GX-150 LOL!

Get serious...honestly, if I ever sell Goldie, I would only replace it with a mint hull.

Only gx-150 I'd ever want...and I'd have to put a 4-stroke on it...which makes it too expensive to justify.

I thought we decided they had a pad?

Doran would you really be happy with something that small? Seems like a step in the wrong direction compared to what you have now as far as a boat for watersports with the family. Isn't that a big part of what you use your boat for?

Its is a big part, yes.  Ultimately, I think I'm heading towards a 2 boat rule.  A 'tow mule', good but older MC, Malibu, Tige, etc, and then something for me to mess around in the club with...gx-150/ SSV-169 Sprint, SSV-168

We're looking for lake property, and then the storage issue (reason for the 1 boat rule) becomes a non-issue very quickly.  I can take my time, find the right G/C.  '82 gx-150, CVC-18 maybe...longer plan in play...

It'll probably be the SSV-168, sx-160?...pretty sure I'm an I/O guy vs. OB guy.

The other thought is to combine all those needs into a V-212 Sierra...which isn't a bad thought either.

" I thought we decided they had a pad ? "

We did ?
I've got CRS bad !

We'll have to talk Joe into a 115 HP motor for his SSV, and see what it'll do ...
You would think that hull would handle a 115 HP motor better then a GT150,  maybe ...

The silver one is the best, but I don't hate the gold either.

Your SSV151 was most likely the better all around choice ...
Do I get to test drive it at Red Wing Joe ?

OK Doran that makes things a little clearer. The only reason I ended up with the CVX18 was due to the place we had up in northern WI. Sold that, kept the Carlson! ;)

Just saw these posts. Yes, you can drive it at Red Wing. Not sure yet if it will have a 50, 90 or 115 on it yet. We'll see......
