Shawn makes an impression at the cove
« on: August 03, 2015, 12:36:59 PM »
So today I get to work and my boss says, "Hey, do you know a guy with a huge house boat that he slips at TI and an orange Glastron?"  I'm like, "I sure do.  That has to be Shawn."

She then went on tell me about how she really enjoyed watching Shawn and his crew of people at the cove on Sunday.  She may have used the words "obsessive compulsive" when describing Shawn keeping the boats, his guests, and even his dog in order. She was very impressed!! At one point she even told him to "Relax and have a beer."

She was also concerned about the clothing options of some of Shawn's guests.  Pajamas pants and fleece slippers on the river???

Lastly, she wanted to make sure I told Shawn that his Glastron is beautiful. Shawn-- if you ever see her on the river again she would love to go for a ride.  :D

Ya on Sat there was Family reunion of sorts at my Grandmas house. I may have choose to stay on the river and have fun.  But to make up for it i said some people could come down to TI on Sunday and we would go for a ride on the house boat.  So on Sunday about 20 people showed up for their ride on the river.  Of course it was really windy and the cove was pretty much full. I am pretty sure the whole cove seen me pull up and went where is he going to park that thing?  Well even at 12 ft wide and 38 ft long I found a spot to slide it into. Then had to tie up in the strong winds and large waves from the passing cruisers.

My cousins boyfriend showed up dressed in red from head to toe and bright white shoes. A few people commented to me and were like whats up Shawn. Then my uncle had on some sort of comfy pants because he didn't want to sunburn his legs.  All in all a good day and everyone had fun. That and I got another day on the water instead of a party room in my grandmas condo.

Tell her just to ask and we can go for a ride.
I think this has become an addiction.

I'm sure it was great fun!  And you seriously made her day.  She talked to me about it for at least 20 minutes (and I got paid for those 20 minutes--so I'll say thanks too).

Also on Sat and Sun at TI Premier poontoon was there doing dealer demos. The now offer a pontoon with triples  The had one there with triple 300's on it and many of them had twin 250's  then a couple more with single 400's  I know I should have got some Pics sorry.

This weekend at TI is the Stingray Meet the way it sounds

Riding in a car is still a very unpleasant experience ...
I have not tried driving yet.

I'll text you if I go.
