Pauline and I are coming for Saturday- be there by 8am. She has to work Friday.

Planning to bring the CVX20. Looking forward to it.

I agree.

I heard this weekend there is a 40+ person wait list for slips at the marina on Sat night. If there is that many the beach will probably start getting the big boats on it as well.

Wow, I just got my slip reservation in about 2 weeks ago too...must have just really had a rush!

I suppose the concert may have some impact on it? I gave them the option of a slip without power, so we will likely be out on the end where we were last year. Was only a few weeks ago that I made reservations. Hope they still are good.

Since we are on the topic of the Toby Keith concert. I see on the T.I. website it will be an outdoor concert. Any idea where they are going to set up the stage?

Just curious if we are going to have a concert going on between the area we are camping and the casino?

I would think it would be over by the casino. Where we are I would doubt it since power, space, and settling pond nearby.

From my understanding it will be in front of the casino on the other end of the parking lots. Sounds like he specifically requested it be on grass.

Change in plans
We will bring the boats down on Wednesday, I will be tent camping Wednesday through Saturday, I think Laurie is going to come down Thursday. The Balharbour will not be with us at this event

And life gets in the way again. My sister in law changed the date of my in laws 50th wedding anniversary to the Saturday of the meet to fit her families vacation plans without checking with the rest of us. Seriously F*ed up and not the first time she's done it. I'll drive down about 5pm on Saturday boat-less and hopefully be able to hang out around the campfire a bit.

I did reserve a slip and campsite for Friday and Saturday night though. Someone in the group can take it instead of me giving it up to just anyone.

I'd love to come down Friday as that was the original plan but Sarah needs my help to prep for it all day Friday too.

If it wasn't their 50th I'd just come both days as this has been in the calendar since February but it's a big deal so you do what you have to do right?

I'll put down 2017's meet on the calendar in sharpie and see if that makes any difference.
