Took the CV to Barrett Boat Works today
« on: July 21, 2020, 09:46:52 PM »
Brough the CV to BBW for estimate on hull repair.
After poking around, found it was cracked (about two feet) on the right inner chine / stake and also cracked (about two feet) on the keel.
The friendly staff at Barrett Boat Works estimated repair would take about a week.

Thanks Jimmy & Dave !

Gregg - I'm guessing your boat was taking on water which is why you cut the floor out?

Now..... if you don't already, put an automatic bilge pump in that CV16.

Good Job Barrett Boat works!!!!!!

;D I think that's one instance where you wouldn't want a check.  I know I'd be upset and mine doesn't look near as good as yours does
